Associate Scientist/Scientist: Infectious Disease Research, Gram negative, in vivo Apply for Position #2070

We are
seeking Associate Scientists/Scientists with experience establishing,
performing, and characterizing rodent models of gram negative bacterial
infection, preferably Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• The
successful candidate will be responsible and must already have experience with
establishing, performing, and characterizing rodent models of gram negative
bacterial infection, preferably Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
• The person
will have hands-on knowledge and be immediately responsible for assessing the
protective efficacy of targeted biologics in multiple models of gram negative
bacterial infection.
• S/He will
already have experience in gram negative bacterial culture and
characterization. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team
dedicated to identifying novel strategies to combat serious bacterial
infections.
Qualifications:
• Education: MS
with 2 - 8 yrs or BS with 5 – 10 yrs, preferable with a minimum of 1 – 3
yrs in industrial Pharma/BioPharma Infectious
Disease in vivo experience.
• Experience in
gram negative bacterial culture and characterization required, preferably Ps
aeruginosa.
• The
successful candidate will be able to contribute to his/her team dedicated to
identifying novel strategies to combat serious bacterial infections.
Location: US East coast.
